Intamac wins Frost & Sullivan`s IoT European New Product Innovation award
Intamac, one of the first companies to bring connected products to market, wins IoT award
Frost & Sullivan, the Growth Partnership Company, has awarded its prestigious 2015 Internet of Things (IoT) European New Product Innovation award to Intamac, an IoT enabler and innovator, with over a decade of experience in the sector.
The award recognises Intamac’s pioneering one-stop software and platform centric portfolio, as an exciting business model innovation. In response to the award, David Perez, CEO of Intamac, said:
“We are delighted and very proud to receive this accolade from Frost & Sullivan, recognising our hard work and determination to bring the IoT to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). At Intamac we have worked hard to develop an end-to-end solution for manufacturers and service providers. We strongly believe this approach creates a viable proposition to meet the needs of our customers, whatever they may be.”
Intamac launched over a decade ago and was one of the first companies to bring connected products to market. Since its initial work with BT, offering home security systems, the company’s portfolio has expanded to utilise other IoT technologies, from those requiring connectivity (such as consumer electronics manufacturers) to service providers (such as facilities owners).
Speaking on the Intamac award, Yiru Zhong of Frost & Sullivan commented:
“This award recognises the difficulty in achieving leadership in new product innovation, particularly due to today’s competitive intensity, customer volatility and economic uncertainty, not to mention the difficulty of innovating in an environment of escalating challenges to intellectual property. This context is testament to Intamac and its achievements to date.”
