Kevin Meagher, Founder and CEO of the award winning home monitoring company Intamac Systems Ltd, has been selected as a judge in the Innovation of the Year category at this years influential European Business Awards.
Now celebrating a third successful year, The European Business Awards recognize and reward business innovation, excellence and ethics in companies across the European Union. It serves to showcase Europe’s most successful business achievements.
The Intamac CEO is no stranger to success at the European Business Awards; Kevin was presented with a Ruban d’Honneur award in the Entrepreneur of the Year category at last years’ event, and his company, Intamac Systems, was awarded Business Innovation of the Year at the same time. Intamac was recognized for developing innovations which will substantially improve the commercial performance and prospects of the company.
Meagher founded Intamac in 2000 and has led the company to be the global market leader in monitoring services and solutions for the connected home market. Intamac has recently developed and launched a new wave of products and services across Europe, with partners such as British Telecom and Yale. Intamac’s most recent collaborations with WoonVeilig and LOCKON. have seen the launch of a next generation of broadband enabled home monitoring product and service solutions.
Kevin is globally recognised as one of the pioneers in the Connected Home industry. As a former Group captain in the Royal Air Force, Kevin gained extensive experience in managing large, high technology businesses. He has lectured on business management and published papers at both national and international levels. His acute business understanding, renowned vision on innovation and modern business practices have all contributed to him being identified and acknowledged as an ideal candidate to contribute to the Innovation Award Judging Panel.
