Based in its offices in Northampton, England, Intamac Systems has built a formidable management team, with a wealth of experience in the high technology, consumer products and telecommunications space.
Kevin is a Chartered Engineer with an MBA who has become recognized as one of the global pioneers of the Connected Home. Formerly, a Group Captain in the Royal Air Force, he opted for a dramatic career change when he saw how a new generation of web based platforms could be used to monitor and control devices in the home. He formed Intamac in 2001 to exploit the technology and launch a range of new value added services into the mass consumer market. The company has now deployed platforms with major service providers on 3 continents to support home monitoring, environmental management, telecare and automation. Kevin has lectured on business management and published papers at national and international conferences. In the 2008 European Business Awards, Kevin won a Ruban d’Honneur as European Entrepreneur of the Year and Intamac won Best New Innovation. He remains keen on sports and plays squash, golf and soccer (when anyone will have him in the team).
Tony is Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer for the Company. He trained as a teacher and became one of the youngest Head Masters in the country. Following his Masters degree at Birmingham University he joined the RAF as a Training Officer. Towards the end of his military career he completed the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants examinations to become one of a handful of uniformed Management Accountants. He left the RAF in September 2002 to join Intamac. In his spare time he maintains a passion for all sport, in particular following cricket and rugby and playing golf.
Keith has over 25 year experience in the Security Industry, having worked with blue-chip organizations such as Racal & Chubb. He joined Intamac from Visonic UK Limited, where he had been the Managing Director for 11 years. In this role, Keith was responsible for creation and implementation of key business strategy for the UK, and was a core member of the team which took Visonic to IPO. He was the driving force in successfully establishing the business as a recognised force in the UK wireless alarms market, and played an instrumental role in winning new corporate partner accounts, including BT and Bell. Keith’s interests include Classical music, cycling & running, and he is in the process of converting a 17th Century Barn.
A founder member of Intamac, John is responsible for the design, development and implementation of both hardware and software on the Intamac platform. His previous experience includes 10 years involvement in the design and management of EDI and web based applications for major insurance companies which enabled insurance brokers to manage their business remotely. During his time at Intamac John has built up vast experience in designing and managing the web portals and monitoring software which integrate the multitude of devices that can be connected to the Intamac service as well as being heavily involved in the system architecture of the platform.
Stephen is a business IT systems analyst with a broad background in IT systems development in both the public and private sector, including lecturing and running his own consultancy practice.
Within Intamac Systems Ltd UK he has been responsible for the development of the Internet platform and communication systems. Stephen is now based in our Toronto Offices supporting the build, management and maintenance of our platform.
Having gained an Honours degree in Industrial Design and an MBA, David spent a decade working for GE/GEC Hotpoint, where he progressed through the Design, Purchasing and Marketing departments to become Group Marketing Manager - Cooking Products, a category of over £100 million turnover. He gained experience of international business as European Marketing Manager at Cooper Industries’ Security business, before joining Intamac in 2003. David has been involved in the development of the Intamac brand, new product and service launches, and has also helped develop and manage key accounts, including high-street retailers, housebuilders and manufacturing product partners. In his spare time, David plays guitar (badly) and enjoys spending time with his 2 young children.
