The platform employs open standards and offers simple APIs that will allow partners to develop and deliver a range of interactive services to their customers.  The consumer interfaces can be branded and integrated within existing service offerings to give consumers a seamless experience and to stretch brands.  The platform has now been deployed to support a range of innovative, new, market ready products and services such as:

• Home Security:  We offer traditional security partners the ability to offer their customers new interactive services.  We also support new low-cost, easy to install broadband products that provide new levels of protection for people and property.
• Smart Energy:  In energy management, reach beyond the Digital Meter to give consumers practical services and devices such as thermostat control to make savings and reduce their carbon footprint.
• Video:  We have developed a number of low-cost IP video solutions allowing consumers to remotely monitor their homes.
• Control:  We can exploit Zigbee and Zwave devices to allow consumers to remotely monitor and control devices.
• Telecare:  We leverage all the above technologies to monitor and assist the elderly and those at risk in the home.  

These new products and services exploit fixed and mobile broadband to deliver exciting new service propositions at price points that were not possible using traditional technology.  Consequently, they will have more appeal to the mass consumer market and support new business models.

The platform is an enterprise solution and is offered as a managed service to partners.  The cloud based approach to managing the connected home allows us to simplify the installation and deployment of devices with a range of new value added services that can be linked to existing service offerings.  It also allows us to develop and deliver a range of turnkey solutions to partners that want to enter and exploit growth opportunities in the Connected Home market. 

We now have platforms supporting the deployment of products and services on 3 continents with major global partners such as Thomson, D-Link, Alcatel Lucent, BT, IAG (Insurance Australia Group) and many others.
